- OS X native version of Open Office next month
A version of OpenOffice that will run natively under Mac OS X's Aqua user interface will be demo'd in public at Apple Expo Paris next month, the team behind the software have revealed. To date, the open-source productivity software suite has only run under the X11 Unix windowing system. Apple bundles an X11 implementation with Mac OS X, but many Mac users prefer the operating system's own look and feel. Not only will it look better, chances are it would run smoother due to it using OS Xs native interface.- Re: [NTLK] Can't connect NewtVNC os OS X VNC Server

Is there anyone willing to put an OS on a 2.5-inch IDE Amiga HD for me? I own OS 3.9 installation media (CDs), and 3.1 ROMs in an A1200, but I am having problems with 1) booting from anything but a floppy drive 2) my floppy drive; and 3) formatting the hard drive with a program that actually works well. I have a 256MB HD. if OS 3.9 won't fit on it, I would even be happy with using OS 3.1 for a while (I also have 3.0 ROMS handy) - so that I can merely transfer some of my old data from Amiga-formatted disks to something else. Send me a Mail> if you are willing to help. Thanks.
